Our Services
Litigation Support & Expert Witness Services
Counsel retain us when a financial question needs an independent expert whose analysis will hold up under cross-examination. We prepare expert reports on valuation, income, and loss, and we support them from first request through to testimony — in language a judge and jury can follow.
Our work is independent and objective by design: the role of an expert is to assist the court, not the party who retains them, and our reports are written to that standard.
How we support counsel
- Expert valuation, income, and loss reports for use in litigation
- Critique and responding reports on an opposing expert's analysis
- Support through discovery, mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Expert witness testimony
Independence and experience
Our principal, Sunny Sanghera (CPA, CA, CBV), has given expert witness testimony in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, provides opinion evidence at mediations, and is a co-author of Financial Issues in Family Law published by the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia.
Frequently Asked Questions
- When should you retain a financial expert?
- As soon as a financial issue — value, income, or quantum of loss — is likely to be contested. Early involvement sharpens the information request and strengthens the eventual report.
- Do you prepare responding or critique reports?
- Yes. We review opposing experts' reports and prepare responding reports identifying errors, unsupported assumptions, and methodological weaknesses.
- What areas of law do you work in?
- Primarily family law and commercial litigation, across British Columbia and Ontario.
